Adult Discipleship Class

Adult Discipleship Class

Our Adult Discipleship Class is held every Sunday at 9:30 am September through May. Our last day of Sunday School and Adult Discipleship Classes will be Sunday, June 9th, 2019. We meet in the Fellowship Hall as we read and learn together. This class is a great way to get involved and make new friends. Nursery care and Sunday School for children are also available at this time.

Our Adult Discipleship Class is currently discussing Survival Guide for the Soul: How to Flourish Spiritually in a World that Pressures Us to Achieve, by Ken Shigematsu.

Does ambition to accomplish something outside ourselves lead to neglect of our inner lives? Drawing on Scripture, church history, psychology, and neuroscience, Shigematsu shows how the gospel redeems our desires and reorders our lives; offers fresh perspectives on why spiritual practices help our souls flourish; and provides a liberating definition of greatness. Foreword by Ann Voskamp. 224 pages, softcover from Zondervan.

This book may be purchased in the Fellowship Hall for $10.
